In the crime-ridden, mafia-governed city of Ergastulum, Worick and Nicolas are two “handymen” known as “Benriya” who would take any dirty job from either police or mafia — for a good price. After an assignment from police the two met and later joined by Alex, a former prostitute who got interested in the mysterious background of the team, in particular of Nicolas’ abilities.

"I’ve learned a lot of anime have 24 episode seasons. I find this and I’m starting to really get into this cool story with great characters in this weird world with great action sequences, and boom. It unknowingly ends abruptly at 12 episodes. Unanswered, important ass questions everywhere. No season two because after it’s 2014 release the company goes bankrupt so, tough cookies. Still worth it though. "

The plot lines so far are good and remind me a little bit of Deathnote, but the most remarkable thing about this show is its main characters. I love the friendship between Nicolas and Worick. I also greatly appreciate how the actor makes Nicolas’ spoken voice sound like someone who is deaf might actually speak. "
