"This movie is hard to describe but easy to enjoy. Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johanssen play a remarkable "couple" in this slow-moving but emotional drama about our "relationships" in the digital age. I enjoyed Scarlett's voicing of a romantic partner, and she does an incredible job of making each emotion she portrays as believable. The pace of the plot played out like a tentative romance, where you are uncertain what will happen next, but you are excited and nervous about what is possible. Amy Adams is a delight as always, this time playing the role of a fellow programmer who is questioning the stability of her marriage and career. Overall, the movie is a slow ride, but the scenes that pass by are delightful."

"This one was refreshingly unique in its own way. Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job portraying #loneliness and connection in a digital age, and Scarlett Johansson’s voice “performance” as Samantha, the AI, brought so much life to a character you never even see. #AI

"Her can hit close to home, these things aren’t far from us and what would it really be like to have a relationship with A.I as a human. This movie asks very interesting questions about the Future of relationships and well people find more Solace with human companionship or something more artificial?? What will that be like?? "

"I guess critically acclaimed movies aren't my thing. Too slow. I thought it was boring and sad. "

"There's no better time to rewatch this one- than in this current age of rapidly advancing AI. It may be long and a bit slow, but fascinating enough to admire the real-life possibilities of it."

"Very good movie. It’s an interesting concept that I’ve never ever thought about. Joaquin did an amazing job and I can’t wait to see more of him. I thought it was an interesting view on loneliness. That emotional attachment of any kind is looked for even if not “real”. Settings are used a little too much and gets annoying seeing the same thing. Also the movies is slow. That’s really it."
