"If you're planning on reading this book, you should go into it knowing that it's very different from The Cheat Sheet. Not bad, just different. I didn't like it quite as much as The Cheat Sheet, but it was still pretty good! I will say that Derek was a complete asshole for the first third of the book, which is probably why I didn't like it as much. I was kind of starting to hate him, but thankfully he redeemed himself pretty quickly a little later on. I adored Nora, and after Derek pulled it together I really liked them as a couple! Enemies to lovers, second chance romance, grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, an accidental not-so-fake marriage, and dual POV! There's a tiny bit of spice, but it's pretty vague on details and the scene isn't particularly long. The fluff is really cute though! I also loved getting to see snippets of Bree and Nathan! Very cute, fun read!"

"Cute and slightly spicy second chance rom com. Into explains that one spicy chapter can be skipped.
Sports agent Nora reconnects with Derek, NFL player, and her college boyfriend who needs to revamp his image and career. Sparks fly between them. Book has one spicy chapter, which can be skipped for those who want a closed door romance. A second chance marriage of convenience trope. Characters from the Cheat sheet make an appearance."

"Omg love this so much!!!! The FMC is so unapologetically herself and hilarious. I love her quirks. So life reaffirming and refreshing. She does not define her life by the MMC. However, finds him again and realizes she can have both a career and a love in her life.
I don't usually like second chance romance, and this is an amazing exception. The type of feminism presented here is exactly how I feel in life. "Feminism is about uplifting women and fighting for our rights to equality and choice. It's not about what that choice is, it's about your freedom to make it. All I've ever wanted for you is a partner who is going to uplift you as much as I know you will uplift him." Shivers. So good. "

"I love Sarah Adams’ books as they are all so cute, relatable, funny, and wholesome. This story is no different as Nora and Derek are adorable and their journey together as well as their individual journeys are incredibly inspiring. However, I just felt that Derek and Nora were slightly immature for about the first half of the book. I had a little bit of a harder time connecting to and loving them, but as time went on, I definitely started to love them more as they learned to have fun, compete, and love each other with less of the silly games, behaviors, and language that permeated the first half. Ultimately, I loved the story and I still plan on buying any and all books from Sarah Adams. "

"I adore Sarah Adams and all her writings. Sequel to “The Cheat Sheet” - one of my all time favorites. Nora is my kindred spirit. Derek is a complete romantic. All the wit I’d expect from a SA novel, but the open-door story is unlike her other books. I do appreciate that she warns the reader and even tells what chapter to skip if the reader wants to keep the door closed. Not one of my favorites of her works, but I’ll continue to be a SA fan girl."

"I read The Cheat Sheet 2 years ago and it’s one I’ve reread at least once or twice since the first time! it’s one of my favorite books so when I heard Sarah Adams was publishing a sequel, I knew I needed to read it!! Derek and Nora are so cute and I’m so glad things turned out well for them! loved the character growth between the two and loved getting appearances of the characters from the first book, even if some only a little. this book was very entertaining and I totally recommend it especially if you’re a fan of Sarah Adams and The Cheat Sheet! 4/5 ⭐️"
