"Thank you to @dorian_black_7262 for recommending this sequel. It was really sweet and original, which seems difficult for Disney to accomplish. The voice actors were great. I really enjoyed the twist on a tine travel theme. I also enjoyed the voice of Christopher Daniel Barnes as the Prince. (He voiced the Spiderman animated series as Peter Parker/Spiderman in the 1990s. It still is my favorite animated superhero series.)"
"I cannot stress enough how much of an amazing sequel (triquel) this is.
A sequel continues the story we fell in love with in the 1st movie. A good sequel does this well. But a great sequel enhances the 1st & is able to stand alone too. This 3rd movie does that outstandingly.
I do not want to spoil this movie at all & hope you go into it blind like I did when I was a kid. It makes the experience all the better & much more impactful.
So here we go. The characters have been thoroughly explored. Even side characters. We see more of people we never even considered in the 1st movie yet it's not a bad thing. In fact, you're gonna love it. Plus, the unimportant side characters do not overpower the story like they did in the original Cinderella. Instead, they remain to the side & only appear when needed.
On top of this, the original main characters get more interactions. You see the connections form in ways the 1st never showed. Yet at the same time, they don't diminish what happened in the 1st, they strengthen it in every possible way. The way they explain their instant connection just feels cute & right, especially for a kids movie.
Finally, the villain. In the 1st, she was bad & a true obstacle to Cinderella. In this one, her evilness shines & comes out in perfect ways. You see just how well her conniving brain works. It's fascinating & fun.
Onto the magic. The 1st had its beautifully mystical properties & this one truly dives into its power. You see just how powerful this magic is. I also adore the way the animation goes about portraying said differences. Love it all.
Now the songs. Not only are they actually incredibly catchy, but they don't overpower the story. They truly just make the experience a tad better. I adore More than a Dream & the end credit song.
Overall, I am beyond impressed by this movie. It even makes rewatching the 1st movie better. Just outstanding movie with a fun lovable story. (It's also got one of the best joke moment in a movie ever, [46:30])
