"Dune: Part One was brilliant, but Dune: Part Two blew it out of the water. From the moment Florence Pugh’s narration started at the beginning to the final shot of Zendaya gearing up to ride a sand worm, I had chills. You can tell all the love and care that Denis poured into every element of this film and it more than paid off. The film was just magic and I can see it sweeping at next year’s Oscar’s. At the very least, Timothee Chalamet is a serious contender for best actor. His performance as Paul cemented him as one of the best actors of this generation. There is so much else I could rave about but honestly, it’s rendered me speechless by awe. "
"I’ve never read any of the books or seen the other movies except part one here. The trope is as old as time but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a messianic movie to this degree. Just interesting. This is a serious movie set in a horrific world. The acting is grade A across the board. Timothee and Zendaya shocked me with how good they are. The plots are really cool. But what sets this apart is the entire third act is some of the most epic action scenes ever. Didn’t feel like almost three hours. There are six books and these two just cover the first one. This series has a chance to be one of the historic ones. Another aside, I watched the first one last night. Timothee’s appearance, just age-wise, is shocking. "
"A realistic continuation of the first well done movie. This one doesn’t disappoint."

"The original 80’s film definitely won’t prepare you for this. The movie is captivating throughout. I wasn’t fully prepared since I never read the books.
The word masterpiece gets thrown around a lot but that’s what Dune: Part 2 actually is. After seeing the first half, you won’t even be prepared how much better the performances get.
Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson are even better especially. Zendaya and Chalamet have great chemistry too. Rebecca Ferguson and Austin Butler are as equally creepy as well.
This blew me away."
"Finally we have something here. I actually feel like things happened and it uses the time to it's advantage. Plus, we're past all the excess world building the first one had to set up and we get to see some action.
I loved seeing things progress. Including meeting the emperor and his daughter (her actress threw me since I recognized her from Little Women). Having characters actually be important and not just die off immediately made watching this movie not feel like a waste of time. Plus, I adored the way everything progressed to that finale.
The ending is great. Some true action and plot development. It just takes months and 2 hours for it to be done. Even with that length of time some things did feel rushed. Like their relationship. Of course they're gonna get together, we all know that and it took advantage of that. I enjoyed the main couple, they did wonders. I did feel like they were forced and she had no true connection to him despite having every reason to keep her distance. He of course sees the future and knows he loves her so that's different.
The way she tries to alert everyone of the truth too at the end felt real and honest. I just don't understand why she's the only one who feels that way openly. Still I loved getting characters to come back and it definitely had even more star wars vibes. The creepy floating man also had progression in interesting ways. The mother is showing more of her true colors too. Even the baby sister makes sense and is a nice addition.
Overall, you get a serious movie you need to pay attention to. It's not perfect and you will get confused (it won't always explain itself) but by the end you are satisfied despite very much wanting to see the next in the series. But that'll take a while."
