"I really wanted to love this because the idea of giving a lead actor no script/dialogue and just having them act is so compelling but the overall movie was just okay. McAvoy gave it his all, but the plot was just scatterbrained. Cinematography was great though!"

"The no script gimmick is interesting but the kidnap ring is a convenient villain. This all seems a bit unlikely. Also wondering deserted buildings seems like a bad idea. Many bad ideas here results in success in the quest to find a missing and trafficked child. Emotional wattage is bright but much remains unresolved."

The fact that he didn't get a script and had to react in the moment adds a level of realism to the film that's hard to ignore. You can really feel the desperation and panic emanating from him as he searches for his missing son. I raised my rating a tad to reflect this. I wish I had known this before I started watching it. It's a bold move by the filmmakers, and it pays off in terms of creating a sense of tension and urgency. The story itself is a bit rough around the edges, but McAvoy's performance is so compelling that it carries the film. If you are a fan of his work it is definitely worth checking out. "
