shi reviews 💕One of BookTok's most popular YA Fantasy Book Series, The Cruel Prince, is an extraordinary tale. The first book in The Folk Of Air Series, The Cruel Prince, was a fun read with many moments that had me at the edge of my seat. The main character Jude Durate was a breath of fresh air that I enjoyed reading about. She was a great character to root for and had great motivations and relatable struggles. The slow-burn romance was an excellent subplot addition to the book. With great side characters and a beautifully written plot, this book is excellent for beginning fantasy readers. However, the world-building in this first book was a little shaky and hard to understand at times. But other than that, this book was excellent. I am excited to read the next two. shi reviews 💕After the tragic loss of the original Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman comes in the beautiful tribute film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." This movie is brilliant. The way director Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole (Writer) preform a stunning job of continuing the legacy of The Black Panther is beautiful. I was in tears the whole time watching the movie (especially the post verdict scene). The way that the cinema portrays life, death, and heritage in such a creative light is memorizing. The film is longer than most, with almost a three-hour mark. However, every moment is worth it. I rate this movie a 5/5. (Follow for more in depth reviews in this app only @shislay16 )

shi reviews 💕If you somehow missed the delights of Lin Manuel Miranda’s genius musical works, you have another chance. This is a movie adaptation of the critically acclaimed Broadway musical of the same name that has been blessing broadway fans for years. The show follows a group of friends who navigate life as they prepare to make their dreams come true. This musical is filled with fantastic music and a feel-good vibe that will make you wish you lived in Washington Heights. While the show does have a beautiful story, it does lack in acting a bit. Some of the plot lines had me a bit confused, but overall this musical is an excellent watch for when you are looking for a great musical and a feel-good movie. I rate this musical a 3.5/5.
