"Struggled to get into this and stay in it, but that’s a me problem. The costumes and supporting cast are truly amazing. "

"I can't believe I wasn't recommended this sooner, it was SO GOOD!! Easily in my top 3 kdramas (and possibly in my top 10 for any and all shows?) and definitely one I'd rewatch - not to over hype it for you, this is my based on my taste. I would recommend this if you're looking for something funny/light-hearted or if you're skeptical of historical dramas but want to try one. Either way you are definitely in for a treat, this is one that gets better with each episode! The only thing I'll add is Shin Hye Sun is such an amazing actress. I already thought so after seeing her in See You in my 19th Life, but now that I've seen Mr. Queen (which came out a few years before) I realize why she was perfect for the role of Ban Ji-Eum and I'll be looking for more of her works to watch! In case it wasn't obvious: 10/10 ❤️

"The storyline and characters were great. However, they were a little too crude for me. A lot of jokes were inappropriate so if you plan on watching and don’t like that stuff that’s something to know. The crude humor raised up after the few beginning episodes and occurred less frequent the further the show progressed, but still it was annoying to me. My favorite part about this drama was the romantic scenes. They had me kicking and squealing like no other it was really well directed!"
