Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

"I never watched this as a kid, as I just loved Tobey's rendition so much and I refused to give anyone else a chance. I am happy to say years later, this movie was a lot better than I expected. Andrew Garfield makes a great Spider-Man, but not necessarily a good Peter. It's the opposite issue the Raimi trilogy has. The Spider suit is easily the best we have ever gotten, the way it looks and reacts to the environment is very impressive. It's not my favorite movie, but it's definitely worth your time. "

"4.75/5*s I loved this movie. Garfield plays a very funny and engaging Peter Parker. This goes back to the comics and has his first love, Gwen Stacy as his love interest. If you've read the comics, you know how that pans out but I won't spoil it for you if you haven't. I love Andrew's chemistry with Emma Stone. (I love her in everything she does!) At the time of my first viewing of this movie, I was not a fan of Garfield. I didn't find him even slightly attractive. After watching him in this, I think he's very good looking and probably my favorite take on Peter Parker. I think this is my favorite Spider-Man movie of all. I completely loved it."
