"A mystery drama about a senior who finds herself in a ghostly afterlife without knowing how she got there, trapped in the area within school grounds she begins to meet other who are in the same situation though who remember their deaths! Worth watching as the the mystery unfolds both at school and around town, as the events of the seniors last days begin to come to light!"
"A lot better than I expected, it hooked me in pretty quickly and the story developed really well, there were even times when the show gave me chills cause it felt strangely eerie. And I like how it really focuses on the mystery at hand and the MCs relationships with everyone, instead of wasting time having characters hook up. Theres supposed to be a second season, and it definitely needs one, but I hope they don't try to stretch it out further, I don't think they'll need it. Definitely binge-worthy, and I would recommend, 9/10📞"
"3.5/5*s rounding up to 4 for visibility
I've only watched 3 out of 8 episodes so far but I like it. I hear there's a big cliffhanger so everyone will be happy to know that a second season is coming. There is one thing that is weird to me & that's how ghosts interact with objects that, apparently they can touch, eat, move around, crash into, etc., but no one alive can see it. For my analytical mind, that's hard for me to grasp & kinda takes me out of the show as my mind won't stop questioning it. Other than that, I'm enjoying the plot & looking forward to the twists & turns that are apparently coming. I love that stuff!I'll come back for a final review once I've finished watching the rest of the episodes.
I finished it & I have to say, there were things that didn't make sense. You can't tell us the rules of being dead & then change them later when you need something to happen outside of those rules. Maybe one of them will be explained since it happened at the end of the season but I doubt it. And one of the things won't be explained. The rules in question are...
1. Moving things in the ghost realm won't move them in the living world. This is in regards to a dead stage hand, or whatever she was in life. This one won't be explained.
2. The dead have to walk to places & open doors, just like the living, even though the living can't see it happening. The dead can't move through walls or "beam me up, Scotty" from one place to another. This one might be explained... Probably not.
I have a problem with these things & more & it has taken me out of the narrative. I love the plot & the characters so I am looking forward to the next season but this stuff definitely takes away some of the enjoyment for me. Yes, there's a very big cliffhanger. I think because of the bad parts, I'm not as excited & desperate to see the next season as I normally would be with such a huge cliffhanger.
Regardless, it's worth the watch & maybe you won't be as bothered by these things as I was."
"Jaw on the floor. THE CLIFFHANGER! This show is sooo good. I did not expect to binge it in one day, but I had to keep watching because THE TWISTS. Peyton List is fantastic in this show, especially the last episode; she is really showing her range as an actress with this one. Also, Milo Manheim was such an attractive addition; my eyes were happy."
"This show is not bad, not bad at all. I love a good mystery when done right. Luckily this one seems to do it right. Although I was a little annoyed by the cliff hanging at the end of the season. As always if a season ends with a cliff hanging but doesn't get green lit for another season it kinda ruins the show. I think this show got green lit for the second season to release late 2024 or early 2025. Cliff hangers are always a double edged sword. They are made so that the show has better chances of getting green lit but will ruin the show if it doesn't."
"We're watching this in my house right now, tied to our own murder boards with yarn and muttering conspiracy theories. I wish I could binge it so I could get to the answer already, there's lots of red herrings. Lots of good 80s references that create a 'if you know you know' layer. Similar to 13 reasons why and the rising"
